Mike is a Managing Director at Bonsai where he focuses on institutional wholesaling and relationship management. He started his career as a Financial Advisor for a Regional Broker/Dealer in Denver. He then moved to the wholesale side of the business as a successful mutual fund and annuity wholesaler, Divisional Sales Manager and National Sales Manager. He has also led the National Account and Marketing teams. Most of Mike’s career was spent at Manulife Wood Logan, Jackson National and Allianz Life.
More recently Mike has been consulting to small financial services companies, IMOs and RIAs. He is the author of a book on wholesaling, Seven Common Threads for Success, and has a presentation on attitude entitled The Four Bones, which he delivers to sales teams and employee groups.
Mike studied at Creighton University and earned his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med from the University of Wyoming.
Mike lives in Parker, Colorado and enjoys western art, ranching and rodeo.
