Dan is a Partner at Bonsai. With over 23 years of experience in financial services, he has held roles ranging from retail to wholesale distribution as well as leadership positions within financial institutions and insurance companies.
Dan began his career as a retail advisor with Raymond James & Associates and First Union Securities. From there his career evolved into the wholesale distribution of annuities, life insurance, retirement plans and mutual funds. He represented Hartford Life, American Express and Nationwide over the course of 17 years.
In a feature driven environment, Dan’s passion is assisting financial professionals to distinguish themselves through planning innovation. Dan’s understanding of the significant risks of longevity and healthcare play a critical role in how he views retirement solutions for the future.
Dan earned his degree in Finance from the University of Alabama.
Dan lives in Cornelius, NC and enjoys golf, fishing and spending time with his sons Barron and Mason.
